Ptosis is a drooping or falling of the upper eyelid. The drooping may be worse after being awake for a long time, when the one’s muscles are tired. This condition is sometimes called “lazy, sleepy or tired eyes“, and even worse, there is a possibility of developing wrinkles on forehead due to elevation of the eyebrows.
To improve this condition, ptosis correction to shorten and strengthen the levator muscle through incision along the inner surface of eyelid or eyelid fold is mandatory.
