Upper Eyelid Lift (Upper Blepharoplasty)

As skin loses its elasticity with age, eyelids or lateral part of one’s eyes may become droopy; it might result in sleepy or tired appearance. Droopiness in upper eyelid skin can also decrease the eyesight and induce presbyopic ptosis that makes opening eyes upwarded causing wrinkles on forehead. To improve such condition, upper eyelid lift to remove unnecessary fat tissue and saggy skin on the eyelids should be considered by measuring the saggy tissue.

Upper Blepharoplasty Procedure

  • 1. Resect the skin along the double eyelid fold line.
  • 2. Remove excessive fat and wrinkled skin.
  • 3. Suture with stitches along the original double eyelid fold line.
