Receding Chin
Receding chin means having chin, the lowest part of one’s face, is back warded or the length of it is not long enough so that the lower part of face does not seem to look well structured. This causes the border between lower chin and neck undefined as well as making it look shorter. The symptom may cause protruding mouth as well even one’s mouth is actually not.
Standards of Beautiful Chin-Line
01. Chin is located at 3 millimeters under the line that is perpendicular to horizontal line drawn between the eyes.
02. When a straight ruler is placed on nose tip and chin point, lower lip slightly touches the ruler.
03. When seen from the side, lips slightly cross the line drown from philtrum to the chin point.
04. The shape of chin forms a gentle ‘S’ curve from lips to chin.
05. Upper, middle, and lower parts of face are in 1:1:1 ratio.
