Sagital Splitting Osteotomy
Combinations of sagital splitting osteotomy, botox, liposuction and fat graft are performed if the large appearance of jaw is due to masticatory muscles or fat rather than the bone itself.
It is the method of reducing the thickness of jaw bone by removing a portion of the cortex, the outermost part of jaw bone consisting of 3 different layers. Usually combined with Magic mirror Square Jaw Reduction, it is used to bring out more effectiveness to reduce the size of thick bone, in order to achieve even slimmer frontal look.

Square Jaw Botox
Having wide or angular jaw which makes one’s face bigger cannot be always caused due to bone, but overdeveloped masticatory muscles surrounding teeth sometimes could be a reason. Botox injection is used to paralyze masticatory muscles to reduce their volume leading to a leaner and smaller looking face as result.

Liposuction, Fat Graft
For chubby cheeks, liposuction is recommended along with square jaw reduction to make slimmer-looking face. Liposuction also has an effect of tightening the skin under chin after square jaw reduction. Fat obtained from liposuction is sometimes grafted into nasolabial folds (smile lines) or lips for even more youthful appearance.
